Wine maker, Maurizia said among her favourite wines was the 2006 d’Alceo which is 85 % cabernet sauvignon and 15 % petit verdot. Her vineyard is set in the heart of the concadora (middle of the valley). They produce 30,000 cases of wine a year of which there are four varieties, Chianti Classico, Sammarco, d’ Alceo and Trebianco – Toscana sticky wine.
